Heart of the Home
At Unlimited Potential, the Heart of the Home Certificate is a monthly acknowledgment created to honor the team members who help make our house feel like home. This recognition is given to individuals whose compassion, dedication, and daily presence have a meaningful impact on the youth we serve, the coworkers they support, and the safe, welcoming environment we work hard to maintain. It is one of the ways we intentionally celebrate the people who bring heart to our mission.
Each month, a staff member is recognized for embodying the values that matter most within our home: kindness, teamwork, commitment, empathy, and excellence. The certificate highlights those who consistently show up with care and who help create a supportive atmosphere where youth feel seen, coworkers feel encouraged, and healing can happen. These are the individuals whose actions, both big and small, reflect the spirit of Unlimited Potential and the belief that homelessness has no room here.
The Heart of the Home acknowledgment is more than an award. It is a reflection of the culture we are building together. The Rising UP Diamond Award is presented to a young person who demonstrates qualities that deserve to be seen and celebrated: personal growth, resilience through challenges, leadership or positive influence, commitment to leveling up, and integrity in both attitude and effort. These are the youth who continue pushing forward, even when the road is not easy, and whose choices reflect perseverance, maturity, and hope. Their progress may happen in quiet ways or bold ways, but it speaks to the strength of who they are becoming.
